Blame owner/winemaker Scott Lindstrom-Dake, a Sonoma native who was an art student in college before he decided winemaking was really what he wanted to do. Scott has a great touch with red wines; he assembled this blend to be ripe, seductive and easy to enjoy. And it is: there's a very nice nose of dark cherry, violet, dark chocolate and molasses. the flavors are like dark cherries kissed with chocolate."
